⚠️ Heat Advisory ⚠️

With these dangerously high temperatures, we want to remind everyone to stay safe and keep an eye on those around you.

This kind of heat is not only hard on us, it’s hard on our vehicles too. Keep an eye on your temperature gauge, coolant levels, tires, battery, and A/C. If your vehicle starts overheating, don’t try to push it home. Pull over somewhere safe and shut it down before a small problem turns into a much bigger one.

Please keep everyone impacted by the fires in your prayers, and a huge THANK YOU to our firefighters, first responders, and emergency crews working out in this brutal heat. ❤️‍🔥

I couldn’t let my last few days come and go without saying goodbye to all of my wonderful customers who have through the years turned into my friends. 🩶

Friday, August 21st will officially be my last day at Blessed Hands Garage as my family and I prepare for a big move down south! This chapter has meant so much more to me than just a job. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to meet so many amazing people, build relationships, share laughs, solve problems, and help keep y’all on the road. 🩶

To every customer who trusted me, supported me, asked for me by name, left a kind review, brought me snacks 😛, or simply made my days a little brighter, THANK YOU. You truly made this place feel like home, and saying goodbye is definitely bittersweet.

I’m incredibly excited for this next chapter, but I’m going to miss my customers and the relationships I’ve built here more than I can put into words.

Thank you for allowing me to serve you, laugh with you, and be a small part of your lives for the last 6 years. I couldn’t leave without saying goodbye.🩷

Tech tip: 🚫 SAY NO TO STOP LEAK 🚫

This is what cooling system stop leak can look like after circulating through an engine. Over time, many stop leak products can harden into a thick, fibrous sludge that doesn’t just seal leaks, it can also clog the very passages your cooling system depends on.

In severe cases, it can:
•Restrict coolant flow through the radiator and heater core
•Plug small coolant passages inside the engine
•Cause the thermostat to stick
•Reduce water pump efficiency
•Lead to overheating and expensive repairs

The material in this drain pan came straight out of a cooling system and is a good example of why we recommend fixing the source of the leak instead of relying on stop leak whenever possible.

A proper repair today is almost always cheaper than replacing multiple cooling system components later.
