Some days explain a shipyard’s capabilities better than a list of services ever could. Two major yacht operations, one fully active shipyard.

The 62-meter (203-foot) Feadship Prediction took on 14,000 gallons of diesel at our fuel dock while the Hornblower Marine team positioned the 49.9-meter (164-foot) Mangusta Yachts Apricity within our 700-ton Marine Travelift for haul-out and service.

At the same time, work continued on other vessels across the yard and inside our enclosed production building.

This is the value of a facility built for scale: the equipment, waterfront access, working space, and experienced people needed to keep multiple complex operations moving safely and efficiently.

On Saturday, July 25, Hornblower Marine was a proud sponsor of the 2026 Allied Marine Rendezvous in Montauk, New York.

One of the afternoon’s standout moments came courtesy of Okamoto Studio, whose live carving transformed solid blocks of ice into a marine-inspired sculpture featuring dolphins and the Hornblower Marine mark, right on the waterfront, one cut and burst of ice at a time.

Thank you to Allied Marine for bringing together an exceptional yachting community, and to Okamoto Studio for turning the idea into a true centerpiece.

For our Bridgeport-based team, the Rendezvous was a welcome opportunity to connect with the yacht community we serve, while celebrating the craftsmanship, creativity and experiences that make time on the water special.
