ies engines (sleeves only) shims are a patch job. Custom shims or sleeves available. It's cheaper to check out while it's apart than to guess and not last. All machining is done to maximum spec to help with the longevity of the engine. (quality of parts purchased (overhaul kit) or rebuilder may vary also so choose wisely. ISX12 in Wichita Falls Tx.
Previously cut for. 032 shims on two holes so the customer wanted all to match. Cut roughly .010 from previous done two and .040 on the other 4.. by hand 🥴. Anyone wanna arm wrestle before this adrenaline runs out? 😂😂
