I had an interesting day earlier in the week, I had a friend ask me if I could help with one of his units in a small industrial complex, he had a mysterious electrical fault pop up after a tenant moved out.
This tenant had done some unapproved "alterations and improvements".
For my sparky friends, 3 different phases with a common neutral, which broke.
It was very difficult to find since it was inside a wall.
Persistence and stubbornness wins the day !!

I got a call from my friend Jeff Kugel the other day, they were in a time crunch, this car was being driven from Kugels shop to Columbus Ohio and could I help with a little routine maintenance before the big trip.
Of course I can help.
The owner made it there safe and sound.

Another stranded customer breakdown taken care of, broken wire creating random chaos and a very dangerous driving experience.
These problems are the hardest to find, inconsistent and random at best. Hard to replicate and time consuming.
All fixed, back on the road.

I posted a while ago wanting a "reversed" corvair steering box, I received some questions asking what that was, so here's a picture, the upper one is stock, the lower is reversed for use in a hotrod.
