68RFE getting ready for some serious billet goodness. 🔥

This one is getting built with some of the good stuff from Precision of New Hampton.

Billet channel plate, billet input shaft, billet accumulator pistons and the kind of parts that belong in a transmission that’s expected to live up to the investment.

I don’t believe in throwing a stock rebuild together and hoping for the best. Every transmission gets built with the application, power level, and customer’s investment in mind.

Sometimes you pull a clutch apart and there’s nothing left.

This one has officially given every last bit of service life it had.

The friction material is gone, the pressure plate has seen better days.
That’s getting your money’s worth. 😂

Not Every “Rebuild” Is the Same

Remember, every transmission labeled “rebuilt” is NOT the same.

Some places throw a friction and seal kit in it, put it back together, and call it rebuilt.

We don’t do that.

When I rebuild a transmission, the goal isn’t just to make it work. The goal is to protect the customer’s investment.

Every unit gets completely disassembled and inspected.

seals get replaced.
bushings gets replaced.
Frictions are replaced.
Pistons are inspected.
Bonded pistons are replaced.
Valve bodies are checked for wear.
Known problem areas are updated.
Hard parts are inspected.
Clearances are measured.
And electronics are replaced when appropriate.

We’re not interested in making something look good long enough to get it out the door.

We ain’t painting it blue and calling it new around here. 😂

There’s a big difference between putting a transmission back together and actually rebuilding one.

When you’re spending thousands of dollars on a transmission, you deserve to know that the person building it is actually trying to protect that investment.

That’s the difference.
