After a 1 year hiatus we are excited to announce the return of The Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series. NHRA Sportsman Drag Racing will return to BIR bigger & better July 17th -21st 2024 with a LODRS Double Divisional. This event will also be a Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Regional Event featuring the low-mid 5 Second, 270 MPH Top Alcohol Dragsters & Top Alcohol Funny Cars. The NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, is where NHRA's top Sportsman competitors in Stock, Super Stock, Super Street, Super Gas, Super Comp, Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, Competition Eliminator and the Top Alcohol Dragster & Funny Cars battle one another for national, regional, and divisional championships. Put the dates on your calendar and watch for the event schedule, ticket & registration information, and updates to be released in the coming weeks.

The 2023 BIR Racer Banquet at Grand Casino at Mille Lacs will be held on February 2nd – 4th, 2024.

The Banquet will be held Saturday, February 3rd in the Large Ballroom in the Convention Center.

The doors open and Social Hour begins at 5:00pm. Dinner will be at 6:00pm.

Presentation and awards will immediately follow dinner.

Room rate at Grand Casino is $139/Friday + tax & $159/Saturday + tax

To make hotel reservations please call 1-800-468-3517, press 1 for Mille Lacs and give them the following code BRB203M. The deadline for reservations at the group rate is Thursday, January 11th, 2024 at 4pm CDT. They may still have rooms available, but the room rate could be higher.

If you are attending the Racer Banquet the cost is as follows:

Class Champions will receive a complimentary banquet meal (non-transferrable), to register you will be receiving an email with a code to reserve your entry online.

$40.00 - Per Person (13 & Older)

$15.00 - Per Child (Ages 4-12)

Please call the BIR Front Office or you may register online for the Banquet.

Registration will close Thursday, January 25th at 11:59pm, as we must submit final numbers on January 26th.
