Right?

Trump may think he's Jesus. But he's certainly no saint.

This is Trump after all.

The same Trump who skipped the Bible at his inauguration. Who cheated on all three of his wives. Who was legally banned from running a charity after stealing from one. Who was found liable for sexual abuse. Who sells Bibles for $60 a pop.

Today, Franklin Graham called him "the most pro-Christian, pro-life president in my lifetime." Which brings us to the question nobody in the Christian right wants to answer…

Pro-Christian HOW, exactly?

Is it pro-Christian to start a war that's killed thousands of civilians? To rip families apart at the border? To gut the programs that feed hungry children? To threaten to destroy an entire civilization and post yourself as the divine hand behind it?

The Pope — a man who has dedicated his life to the actual teachings of Christ — said "blessed are the peacemakers" and got called weak on crime for it. Graham's response? The Pope should thank Trump for his service to Christianity.

The Pope. Should thank Trump.

Let that sink in.

The Christian right has built a theology of convenience. They didn't find a godly man and support him. They found a useful man and retrofitted the scripture around him. The AI Jesus image wasn't a gaffe — it was a natural culmination of deifying this man.

The doctrine was never about faith. It was never about values. It was about finding a man who would protect their power and building a cult around him.

God help us.

This Saturday on the Zippo\ Case Museum grounds, a fantastic car show, hosted by Street Dreams Car Club as well as something for everyone! Food and beverage vendors, live musical entertainment, balloon artist, pumpkin carving, face painting, bounce houses, caricature drawings, games, giveaways, and more! All this going on at the Zippo\Case Harvest Fest, from 10AM until 4PM on Saturday October 5th!

Well folks, it's about to be the 2nd Sunday of September, and that means Autumn Daze Show time! C'mon down to our Historical Main Street and enjoy the festivities! There will be food and craft vendors, live music by the Cruisers, the Street Dreams Referee girls, and this year our own Candy Striper girls. Add to that, the Ms. and Lil Ms. Nostalgia Contest. Last but not least, the vehicles that make up the show, themed, " A Taste of Peppermint ". Trophies awarded and dash plaques to the first 125 entries! Free for spectators, and you never know who might attend as Denzel Washington made an appearance a while back!

After receiving numerous phone calls for info on the Hometown Days Car Show, Street Dreams made a decision after the 2023 show, that we would not be hosting the show in 20024. We have taken part in the show for several years and we wish the newcomers continued success!

Well car show enthusiasts, I guess it's time to start discussing the upcoming 26th Autumn Daze Show! Last years show will be a tough one to top, but we believe we are well on the way! Food and craft vendors, our referee girls, candy striper girls, a chicken barbeque and of course millions of dollars in classic, antique, street rods, and special interest vehicles coupled with The Cruisers rock'n'roll band make this a family friendly event! Of course, once again, we will feature our own Ms. Nostalgia Contest! Thank you to the sponsors that make this extravaganza possible!
