March 15, 1906: Rolls Royce Ltd. officially registered with Charles S. Rolls and F. Henry Royce as directors.
March 18, 1908: Ford introduced the Model T to dealers.
March 20, 1988: Pontiac produced it's last Fiero after 5 years of production. A total of 370,168 Fieros were produced. It was the first and only mass-produced mid-engine sports car by a U.S. manufacturer.
March 24, 1898: Robert Allison became the first person to purchase an American-built motor car, a Winton.
March 28, 1976: First American Grand Prix held in Long Beach, California. Clay Regazzoni won the race, sat on pole position, and set the fastest lap in a Ferrari.
