We are rolling out the Pre-Sale for our popular Billet Honda S2000 Hood Hinge. These hinges are designed and manufactured in Kentucky, USA.

They come with a damper specifically designed to work with any hood, OEM or Aftermarket. There are 3 levels of dampers. Dry Carbon is the lightest option. OEM Aluminum is the medium strength option. Wet Carbon and FRP hoods will require the strongest option due to them being the heaviest hoods. If you do not know the type of material your hood is truly made from ask the manufacturer of the hood, or check the forums.

We plan to open the presale 8/11/26, we have loaded a discount code for 50 slots for $50 off. If that sells out quick we can open up more. Once they hit the shelves they will go up to $399.99. We are only making 100 sets again, once the 50 pre-sales are sold only then will we start manufacturing. To keep everyone up to date along the way, I created a facebook group. Once the pre-sale is opened up, i will make the group searchable. Join the group, and enjoy the updates as we manufacture the hinges.

We also are planning to launch an option for a limited amount to be anodized. We hope to finalize that today. There will be an up-charge, these are made in small batches.

We sent the mad scientist Calvin Calvin Nelson a couple Chasing Speed Reverse Alternator Mounts to help him with a couple pesky engineering issues with a couple of his wild builds!

Here you can see how he’s adapting our off the shelf LS Mount to work for his wicked Northstar swapped 57 Bel Air!

The Reverse Alternator Mount was designed for the LS engines but we are adapting this format to other popular platforms.

Here at Chasing Speed, we use CAD, and we use it every single day. From a simple 3d printed tool to finish a job or a 3D scanning a chassis and building steering components or custom suspension components. From Roll Cages to Exhausts. We utilize CAD for a whole lot.

We use both Solidworks and Fusion360, but we prefer Solidworks for the integration and work flow. It’s all a preference.
