Levi's Garage is looking for full time automotive technicians that are capable of working on a very wide range of vehicle brands. Must be able to diagnose and repair vehicles in a timely manner, write estimates, communicate repairs needed with customers, order parts, and complete other day to day task as needed. Applicants must have their own tools, and should have 5 yrs or more experience in a full service shop environment. Pay is based on qualifications and experience. Hourly based pay. The totals have come in. During the month of March, Levi's Garage repaired 155 cars. That means at $5 per car, we donated $775 to the JimmyV Foundation to help find a cure for cancer. We want to thank all of our customers for their support!!

We have been using LED work lights to work on cars for over 10 years because they are safer and last longer. Now we have decided to go even greener by taking out the 16yr old power hungry, 400 watt shop light fixtures and replace them with all new, super efficient 150 watt LED light fixtures. Shop is as bright as ever with the new lights!

With the cold weather coming early this year, there are a few things to consider for your car. One important item is YOUR ENGINE OIL. Do you know what those numbers on an oil bottle mean? Lets start with 5w-30. The first number 5 is how thick the oil is when cold and yes, the "W" stands for winter. The second number 30 is how thick it is when hot. The lower the first number is, the thinner the oil will be when cold. Thinner oil means much easier starting for your car in cold winter weather. Many new cars are requiring oil such as 5w-20 and even 0w-20. These very thin oils also increase a vehicles MPG. Another factor in oils is "SYNTHETIC VS CONVENTIONAL OR SYNTHETIC BLEND". Synthetic oils flow better when cold reaching critical engine parts quicker. Please watch the link here, then decide if you would rather use synthetic oil or plain conventional oil in your car this winter. The test is performed by Mobil 1 oil.
