Day 4 of 14 to get this truck finished! Sometimes you get big things done with hardly anything to show for it visually. I worked all day on this wiring. Got a lot completed. Still have a lot to finish still. Not everyday can be an engine install day. That’s how it goes though! Despite it not looking like much, I am a LOT closer to finishing the truck. Progress every day! Follow along for more updates!

DAY 3 of the final 14 days to get this truck all finished! As you can see I have a long way to go still! Today’s project was locating, mounting, and connecting the ECM, TCM, DBW/CC module, the control module, and standalone relay box. I was also able to tidy up some more of the wiring for the engine. Tomorrow the plan is to wrap up all the wiring in the engine bay and also wrap up the HVAC system. Gotta get this truck running soon! The crunch time is real!

Day 2 of the 14 days to get this truck finished and on the road! I got the modified radiator support installed. The power steering is all hooked up. HVAC is in progress. Evidently updated their hoses so now my crimper doesn’t work. Gonna have to look into that! Tomorrow I will make some progress on the wiring in the engine bay. Stay tuned!

The engine is all ready to go. Now time to get it into the truck! T minus 14 days to this truck all complete!

I did not know this but if you are swapping a 1967-1972 GM truck body onto a newer Silverado frame, makes a kit to put some Amp Research steps on! This is going to be really nice when I get the actual kit. What you see here is some mock up pieces to help figure out if these steps would work. Great working with you Ben!
