There will be a benefit coming up on June 20th at the Benton County Fairgrounds for race car driver and Firefighter Brice Slavens.

We already have a few drivers and cars committed to coming. That being said we would love to see the racing community come together and make this as big of a benefit as possible.

How many race cars and drivers can we get to come out and support a fellow racer? We are asking anyone that would like to come and set up, make it where kids and adult fans alike can get a photo, maybe even some autographs with you and your race car. Great opportunity to show off your race cars, sponsors and your support for all those in the racing community.

Everyone is welcome, there will be lots to see and do, food and drinks will be available as well as a beer garden for folks 21 and over.

Let's do everything we can to make this a great turn out and a great benefit for Brice!

****UPDATE****
Many folks have been asking about an opening date and potential classes. We are going to take our time this year and remodel the track. All areas of the property from the parking lots to the grand stands and restrooms as well as the concessions and offices all need a great deal of attention. We are also going to remove and replace the track surface as we do not want rocks to continue to be an issue. We are also going to be spending some time in the infield cleaning up and removing old equipment and trailers. We will be looking at the usable space and potential of the infield to see what we can add. We thank everyone for being patient as well as showing such interest in the track.

We wanted to take a moment 1st off to thank everyone for their suggestions. We greatly appreciate all the support and great ideas all the way around.

A lot of folks have asked about what specific classes we have chosen to run, at this point we would like to keep the mic open for further suggestions.

We are going to take our time in the spring and early summer with the track. As many of you know and have commented about the track has sat for a long time. Everything from corner to corner needs attention. We want everyone to know that we plan on going through and fixing, repairing and or upgrading everything on the property. There is A LOT of work that needs to be done. The last thing we are interested in doing is rushing out there to get a season open, only to drop the ball with the same old problems that everyone has spoken about. The track surface is NOT going to be a horrible rock garden as it was previously known for. We are going to take our time and do this the right way with quality, safety and preparation being the priorities. All of the seating needs repaired. Both of the towers need complete overhauling. All of the concessions and offices need to be remodeled/repaired and updated. We want to make sure that every detail has the proper attention paid.

If or when we reach a point in 2025 where we foresee the reality of being able to host events or announce a date for a grand reopening we will make sure to give everyone plenty of notice. We have been looking through everyone's comments and looking at all of the tracks within 150 miles of us to see what everyone else is running. We look to make an official post of the classes we will be hosting in spring of 2025. Obviously there will not be a schedule available for 2025 until we have a finish date of the repair/remodel.

Once we get our website up and running we will post it on here. When we post the walk through of the current state of the track to our youtube channel, we will post here that it's up and running. Our plan is to post videos regularly so that everyone can see the progress and make suggestions along the way. We will post on here when we have days open to the public to come and help as many folks have volunteered.

As many of you know...or do now lol. We recently purchased the 3/8s mile dirt track in Benton county near Boswell, IN. Our goal is to bring this track back to a level of greatness it has never seen. Originally opened in July of 1967 as Henry's speedway it has laid host to many great dirt track drivers over many decades. Our goal is to host many great and exciting events that lay host to any past drivers that want to come back, any current drivers that want to join and all future generations that want to learn and make memories with us that will last a life time. We will make an official grand opening date announcement once we feel the track and all facilities are where they need to be. Thank you in advance for any and all support we get in this new adventure!
