CUSTOMER CAR SHOW #28
Meet Julien of Shawinigan, Québec, and his stunning 1959 Oldsmobile Super 88 Holiday.
This is Julien’s very first classic car, and it was love at first sight. He and his girlfriend were immediately drawn to the bold styling, sweeping lines, and turquoise and white color combination. The only catch, the car was about eight hours away.
They made the drive anyway, and Julien says it was absolutely worth it.
“We took it home and wow, what a feeling to drive it around and get amazed looks from people on the street. Definitely a head turner!”
Julien has only owned the Oldsmobile for about two months. Brake work has already begun, and engine work is next on the list for his winter project.
And this Olds may have an even bigger job in its future, Julien says it might just become the wedding car for him and his girlfriend someday.
We think it would make a pretty great getaway car.
