About The Rod Benders Car Club....


Our club was formed in 1999 and formally chartered in 2000. We have a strong affiliation with eight car clubs in surrounding communities. The Rod Benders are in the hub position, hence naming our annual local car show each June the Borders 3 Jamboree. Ours is a "working" club ... we drive our cars to shows and events throughout Idaho, Montana, Washington and Br

itish Columbia. The Rod Benders cars put some rubber on the road and in spite of the hazards of driving a lot of miles, our cars still bring home awards and accolades wherever we attend. Club Official Business meeting night is the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm in the Chic 'N Chop Restaurant located just south of Bonners Ferry on Highway 95. You'll find several club members gathered each and every Wednesday just to enjoy the strong camaraderie that prevails in our club at the Chic 'N Chop or some other spontaneous cruise site.

Cruised downtown Bonners ferry and went and seen the folks at the Boundary County Restorium and then up north ending at feast Creek for dinner. Hope to see you tomorrow at the Borders three jamboree Car show in downtown Bonners ferry.

Sorry for the delay of this announcement …but never fear we are still here…39th Annual Lost in the 50’s May 15th-16th…Friday is reunion night…we are going to take you through years of music from all the years of original guest artists…you may get to win free T-shirts no one else will have because you have to go Friday to get them…maybe some other goodies for prizes as well( how many years of music can you remember…come and enjoy our night with Rocky and the boys…this will be a fun night of memories and music!!! Then Saturday “Mr. Chubby Checker and the Wildcats”…he is a Rock n Roll Hall of fame Icon with 36 hit records and the first artist to have a single to go to #1 twice… Dick Clark had said that: “the three most important things that ever happened in the music industry are Elvis, the Beatles and Chubby Checker!” For sure they made the way for many!!!
