Sikeston Race Park Points series opener🏁
-2 Stoke/400 I ran the best I probably have on this quad. I led the whole night pulling the holeshot and 1st place finish in the heat and the holeshot in the main. Coming around to the white flag for last lap my engine grenaded after leading by a good distance the whole race causing a DNF.
-450 Am I got 3rd in my heat behind Jax Meloy and Ella Barrett. Going into the mains I knew i had to get off the line before anyone else so I could get 1st place and hold it. After taking tips from Ferlin Pinkston and figuring out what I was doing wrong i pulled the holeshot with Jax and Ella right behind me. Coming around to finish the first lap I started to spin and by the time i could get it corrected me and Jax made contact and it was too late. We both managed to get back in and catch back up to the pack after being lapped. I placed 5th
- Open Am I got 3rd in my heat and 2nd in my main. Wasnt much going on during this race due to it being my 3rd class I was pretty dead and discouraged due to what happened in the other 2 classes.
-Amanda raced womens class and did really good with the hand she was dealt. Racing a bunch of 450s on a 400 isnt easy but she made the best of it. She had absolutely amazing starts. She had a battle for 3rd in her heat but came out on top to take 3rd in both the heat and the main!

Last weekend we went to Sikeston Race Park for the Amsoil MWEDT Nationals Series round 7 & 8🏁
Saturday practice went good on both quads made a few adjustments on the 450 and threw on new tires for the races.
Before the heats started I had issues with my 400 starting so i had to jump on a different quad to run 2-stroke/400 heat race. Placed 3rd in the heat and by the time the mains came around I figured out my issue and wound up starting penalty row in the mains. After a bad start i fought my way up to 4th place where me and Jax battled it out the rest of the race and I was able to hold him off.

Open C didn’t go how I wanted it to in the slightest. I was able to hold 3rd place for most of the heat till I killed the quad in one of corners and fell back to last place. Going into the mains i lined up in back row with 17 other quads on the line and the nerves started to kick in. I had a very poor start but was completely ready to fight to make it up. Going into the second corner there was a pile up due to another rider stalling, although everyone was able to make it out without wrecking a few of us ended up going into the thick sand and stalled out. Unfortunately when I swerved to go around the left side of everyone my left rear tire caught something causing me to stall and raced the rest of the race on a blown out tire. Not sure what place I ended up in.

Sunday was starting off a little better. I had a good heat in both classes and wound up finding myself on the podium of the 2 stroke/400 class for 🥉. Open C main I had a good start but following that we had a restart due to someone jumping the line. After the restart I had an awful start and made it to the first corner in the very back of the pack. I took the option lane immediately and made my way to the middle of the pack where I stayed for the finish. Not sure exactly what place I got.

Last Saturday we race at Sikeston Race Park mainly to test out my motor after fixing a issue i had discovered after Paducah. Still struggled with a unrelated issue but I think we have it figured out now. Hopefully the rest of the season should be smooth sailing. Even though the quad wasn’t running correctly still I still got 2nd in both 2 stroke/400 and 450am. Amanda finished up 2nd place in womans class!

Round 1 and 2 of Amsoil MWEDT Nationals Series this weekend was one for the books✔️

Saturday 2 stroke/400 I had a pretty hard time keeping up with most of the other quads due to it being the fastest track I had been on I wasnt even sure how the motor would handle it. Although I did still end up in 5th in the main i wasnt quite satisfied with how the motor was performing on the bottom end.

Saturday Open C class I had a hell of a start to my heat and managed to hold off the rest of the class and pull first place. Got into the main and had a little bit slower of a start but found myself on the podium for 3rd!

Womans novice Saturday Amanda ended up with a couple mishaps that put her in a DNF in the heats and the mains, had a pretty scary main mishap but you live and you learn, she got back out on Sunday and found herself in 1st place in the main!

Sunday 2 stroke/400 I still had a rough time figuring out the new motor but I managed to end up in 5th place in the main!

Sunday Open C I placed 1st in my heat again. In the main I got off the line in 3rd but on the 3rd or 4th lap I got passed in a caution, which got in my head and i wound up spinning out in the next lap, but still managed to get 6th out of 16.

Although the weather put a damper on the track and the turnout of there not being very many riders, Saturday ended up being a good start of the season! Amanda Peery even got around the track pretty well and ended up in 4th 🤙🏻 Thank you Charlotte Kelly for the action pictures!
