XPEL Boise is looking for a full-time installation assistant to help with paint-protection film installations and other shop functions. XPEL installs automotive protection products such as paint protection film, window tinting, and ceramic coatings. No experience is required; however, we are looking for someone interested in long-term employment. This job will provide excellent potential to advance and become an installer in a well-established, experienced, busy shop that has an excellent reputation. Duties include tasks and responsibilities such as the following:
• Inspecting incoming vehicles for existing damage.
• Cleaning and preparing vehicle surfaces for installation.
• Using a computer/plotter system to cut paint-protection film patterns for installers.
• Final finish work on installations. For example:
o Wrapping and sealing edges of installed film.
o Washing and drying vehicles after installation is complete.
o Inspecting installations and reporting to installers.
• General shop housekeeping such as sweeping, laundry, and inventory.
• Shuttling vehicles.
• Other help as needed.
This position requires the following:
• Background check and drug test.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to arrive on time.
• Lifting up to 45lbs.
• High aptitude for being aware of shop processes, and in taking excellent care of customer vehicles.
• Physical ability to spend the workday moving throughout the shop on a concrete floor.
