Our Story
We are a small family owned business that started out in 2011 with with the concept of scouting out good quality used cars at fair prices. We leased a very small office and a little strip of land with just enough space to showcase about five cars. Our concept was to scout out and find the car our customers wanted and "The Auto Scout" was born.
Because that little strip of land just off South Cole Road was down a dirt lane and next to several tow companies impound lots it kept our costs down and our overhead low. Our vehicles would get a little dusty but we made sure they were safe and relilable and we were able to pass our savings on to our customers.
Over time our customers began telling friends and family and the need for more space became necessary. So when one of the tow lots relocated we decided to lease their old impound lot which was adjacent to our little strip of land and it was a perfect fit.
We also moved out of our little office and around the corner of the building into the larger office space they vacated. While our cars may still get a little dusty we didn't have to move and lease much more expensive space which allows us to keep our overhead down and our vehicle prices low.
