Our new Hood’s sign with LED lighting was hoisted by this crane and mounted on these large pipes today. The old neon sign, shown in the small frame was put up on October 26, 1982 and served well for 43 years. The tornado of April 28, 2025, took down the old Hood’s signature sign, as well as another high rise sign, breaking all four pipes off at ground level. Darlene Hood, July 11, 2025.
