Please note that this page is non-interactive and intended for informational purposes only. Come and enjoy all the things our community has to offer such as fifty lakes, including five swimming lakes and beaches. You can use our boat launch for kayaking, boating, motor boating, but only on the Big Lake, along with fishing or just take a slow leisurely sail. We have nature walking trails, parks and

playgrounds, an 18 hole golf course and a disc golf course. We are close to the beaches and ferries to Bald Head Island and Fort Fisher. Boiling Spring Lakes has so much to offer and is a wonderful place to spend time visiting or to hang your hat and raise your family.

Please be advised that the City of Boiling Spring Lakes Board of Commissioners will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, May 28th, beginning at 6:00 PM at City Hall. The purpose of this Special Meeting is to discuss the City Manager position. The meeting will begin in open session and then move into closed session pursuant to NCGS § 143-318.11(a)(6) to consider the qualifications, competence, performance, character, fitness, conditions of appointment, or initial employment of prospective public employees or officers.

⚠️ Upper Lake Dam Rd. Closure ⚠️

Please be advised that Upper Lake Dam Rd. will be temporarily closed to through traffic beginning May 20, 2026, to allow for a thorough road surface evaluation. Barricades will be installed to restrict access, and only first responders and city officials will be permitted to use the road for emergencies and official business until further notice. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time.

BOC Budget Workshop and Special Meeting May 20th

The Boiling Spring Lakes Board of Commissioners will hold a Budget Workshop on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM at City Hall.

Immediately following the Budget Workshop, the Board will convene a Special Meeting which will go into Closed Session to discuss personnel matters per NCGS § 143-318.11(a)(6).

The public is invited to attend the open portions of the meeting. Closed session will be held in accordance with applicable provisions of the North Carolina Open Meetings Law.
