Beautiful 1966 Pontiac GTO visited the Hot Rod Garage not too long ago. Car had been sitting for years and customer wanted the vehicle to be roadworthy & improved! Started by rebuilding the original 389....we sent the original Tri-Power setup out for restoration as well. Upon installation we installed a high capacity cooling system, Vintage Air ac system, Dakota Digital gauges, freshened up the 4 speed transmission & installed a new clutch assembly. Rebuilt the rearend and installed better gears for highway cruising. Disc brakes and new exhaust rounded out the package! Car is now completely roadworthy and comfortable to drive anywhere!

Very high end Concourse restoration of a beautiful 1956 Bel Air Convertible. This car was sold thru one of the large auction houses. When it got home it was found that the crankcase was full of coolant! Come to find out, the engine was an absolute mess! Cylinders were bored an excessive amount causing coolant to seep into 3 cylinders. Engine had wrong pistons, wrong crankshaft and basically was a disaster throughout. To restore this number's matching engine (with original dual quad carbs), we sent the block out and all cylinders were sleeved back to stock. A serviceable, correct crankshaft and stock pistons, camshaft and restored heads got this beauty back in roadworthy condition! Never know what you might find when you peel the layers back!

This custom built, 600HP, 502ci Big Block Chevrolet is just waiting for a few other power train components before being installed in a extremely nice 1986 Suburban 4x4 with only 28k miles! Suburban has already received fresh, re-geared differentials, restored bulletproofed driveshafts and transfer case along with a custom built overdrive transmission. Updated cooling system, fuel injection, and all new exhaust system are coming soon. Then with some suspension upgrades this Suburban will be ready to haul the whole family cross-country....as quickly as you would like to!

Beautiful 1950 Cadillac. This ride was visiting for a couple of minor issues. We repaired the Vintage Air system, repaired the horn & turn signals. Basically, checked it over and gave it a clean bill of health. The owners will be driving this car from Kerrville, TX. all the way to Biloxi, Mississippi for Crusin' the Coast next week! Fun stuff.....!!

An incredible 1956 Imperial is getting some love at Hot Rod Garage. This car is an older Concourse restoration of a beautiful automobile! Powered by a 354 Hemi and pushbutton Torqueflight transmission. We rebuilt the transmission, restored the factory AC, took care or some driveability issues and an overheating problem. The car is now roadworthy and the owner does actually drive this car everywhere! It is ready for another road trip!

A top shelf restoration out of a private collection.....Owner decided he and his wife are going to use this 1957 Belair for travel throughout the good ole USA! They will be traveling to multiple car events this year! So, to make it more comfortable and reliable we went through and upgraded multiple systems, such as....Vintage Air Conditioning, Dakota Digital Gauge Package, Multi-port fuel injection, Overdrive Transmission, Front Disc Brakes & Power Steering, Rebuilt differential with proper gearing for highway cruisin'! All topped off with a new set of Wide White Wall Radial Tires. Such a Beautiful & Classy way to travel!!
