2015 BMW 328 I
Rattling sound from mid to rear inside car at acceleration to 40 -50 mph .
E - brake cable bracket made of plastic broken off
Causing this rattling sound on acceleration.
It more apprent when passengers are in the rear seats .

Engine oil leak found, from VVT

Replaced a BMW 5 series blower motor and resistor assemble.
They plastic fins make noise after years of use or just a worn out resistor
Either way both is recommended, it’s location is very time consuming

Checking for heavy oil leak , which I found out the intake cam seal completely unseated from it home
Basically timing belt is soaked with engine oil
Replacement of all seals and timing belt is eminent .

For those of you with timing belts, it’s recommended to inspect it at 60,000 miles or replaced it . It wears and stretches out , so it eventually makes a slapping sound especially on start ups . Be aware that it can severely damage your engine if not properly diagnose or ignored .
It is wise to replace the cam and crank seals with the water pump , which comes in a timing belt kit .
