A look at one rear glass replacement from start to finish.

This job was completed by Amazing Auto Glass, our sister company. From cleaning out broken glass and removing trim to prepping the frame, applying adhesive, and setting the new glass—there’s a lot that goes into getting it done right.

One word you may hear after an accident is “supplement.”

It simply means the original repair estimate needs to be updated because additional damage was found after repairs began. The first estimate is based on what can be seen at the start. Once parts are removed, there can be more to address underneath.

That is not unusual. It is part of making sure the repair plan reflects what the vehicle actually needs.

Every claim is different, so if you have questions along the way, ask. We are happy to talk you through the next step.

MYTH: My insurance company picks my body shop.

FACT: They can recommend a repair shop. You can choose a shop you trust.

Georgia law says an insurer cannot require a particular repair facility to settle a claim if equivalent repair work can be obtained at the same cost elsewhere.

Every claim is different, so follow your policy’s claim process—but know that you have a choice in where your vehicle is repaired.

Need an estimate or want to talk through the next step? Call Car Crafters at (706) 258-2950.
