Contact us to make your Bronco dreams come true! Maxlider Brothers Customs has a deep connection to the Ford Bronco. Erik and Kris Maxlider’s family caught the bug back in 1966 when their Uncle Dick bought the very first Bronco ever sold at their local dealership in Donovan, Illinois. Uncle Dick’s son, Cousin Rick had numerous Broncos over the years and used to take Kris and Erik out to jump railr
oad tracks outside of town. Years later Erik and Kris started Maxlider Brothers Customs, at first buying, repairing and selling Ford Broncos, then restoring stock Bronco classics and finally into custom, Coyote swapped, high-end restorations. They became widely known as one of the Grandfather’s of the Bronco restoration business. The Brothers have a high attention to detail creating not just beautiful Broncos, but ones that are rigorously tested so they could be used as a daily driver or a weekend off-roader. Maxlider’s custom vintage Broncos have gone on to win numerous awards. For three years in a row, Maxlider Brothers Custom’s vintage Broncos placed in the top ten in SEMA’s Battle of the Builders. In 2019, Maxlider brought a custom built 1968 Four-Door Vintage Bronco with su***de doors to SEMA where it placed top 12 vehicles in the Battle of the Builders, and was one of the top three trucks of the show. In 2020 when the sixth generation Ford Bronco was released, the Brothers were the first to modify them with their unique modular bumpers and custom upfit packages. They carried over their sleek designs, unmatched quality, and high functionality to all their modern builds. The new generation Bronco also allowed Maxlider to build strategic partnerships across multiple industries. The largest partnership came when the Ford Motor Company asked Maxlider Brothers Customs to be an authorized upfitter and dropship location for their new line of sixth generation Broncos. Customers can purchase a Bronco from any Ford dealership and have it shipped directly to Maxlider Brothers Customs for upfitting. Maxlider continues to adapt and innovate to meet the ever changing market.
