Indiana football ticket sales are surging after the championship, and the university is expanding its student section at Memorial Stadium. The school has already sold 11,000 student tickets and plans to sell up to 5,000 more, according to data presented to IndyStar. IU also reports a 93 percent season-ticket renewal rate and over 9,000 new season ticket sales. The department expects to sell between 4,000 and 5,000 more tickets to new students, expanding the dedicated student section to as many as 16,000 seats. Indiana expects to sell out every one of its eight home games this fall, including Big Ten matchups against Northwestern, Southern Cal, Ohio State, and Purdue. The Hoosiers say their ticket sales reflect a bona fide football culture at IU, after last yearβs national championship run. See link below β¬οΈ
