Let's see how much you know about cars!

Here's today's question:

— Myth or Fact: Premium gasoline is always better for your vehicle.

Believe it or not, premium fuel isn't automatically the best choice for every car. What matters most is what your vehicle's manufacturer recommends.

Using regular gasoline in a vehicle designed for it is perfectly fine. Premium fuel is important for vehicles that require it, and some vehicles recommend it for optimal performance.

Putting premium fuel in a car that doesn't need it usually won't give you any meaningful benefit.

Here's a question for you:

**What's actually in your trunk right now?** 👀

If you had to pull over on the side of the road, would you have the basics you might need?

It's a good idea to keep a few simple items in your vehicle, such as:
• Jumper cables or a jump pack
• A flashlight
• Basic tools
• First-aid supplies
• An emergency blanket
• A phone charger
• Water

Hopefully you'll never need any of them, but if you do, you'll be glad they're there.

That tire that's been losing a little air. The squeak you only hear sometimes. The check engine light you've been meaning to have looked at. The maintenance you've been telling yourself you'll get around to.

But those little things are worth paying attention to.

Taking care of smaller concerns early can help you avoid bigger problems later, and sometimes a quick inspection is all it takes to give you some peace of mind.

- “I deserve premium gas.”
