(Vehicle in question belongs to me) Let me be VERY CLEAR! When you bring a vehicle to me and I give you a price. THAT IS EXACTLY TO THE PENNY WHAT IT WILL COST! Nobody likes surprises! Point in case: trying to help a local that’s just getting started, I let them do a job for me. The cost was $180. After I purchased all parts. 8 days later I’m told it’s ready, but it still has a small water leak that was easily fixed while they did said job. The bill is now $360. You can’t do business that way people! People will not bring work to you and they will talk! I’m sorry you’d never done that job before and it took you 10 hours to do a 3 hour job. That doesn’t mean you get to charge the customer for that extra time, because you really didn’t know what you were doing.
