We will be closing early on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 12pm to attend the "Wings and Wheels" event at Blairsville Municipal Airport as we are also a Sponsor for this great event hosted by the local EAA Chapter 1211 benefiting Aviation Education for students. Tire Pressure

When servicing your tire pressures, what pressure do you use?

The pressure found on the sidewall of your tire is a Maximum Pressure established by the manufacturer of the tire as a Structural Limit. The tire manufacturer does not know what vehicle the tire will be installed on. If this Max Pressure is exceeded you are experimental and damage could occur or you could have a blow out.

The proper tire pressure is found in the drivers door jam. The placard may have a small image of a tire and will show "Front" and "Rear" tire pressures, example: "32psi". Sometimes the Front and Rear pressures are the same and sometimes they are different.
The door jam placard tire pressures are established by the vehicle manufacturer from extensive testing for Handling, Comfort, Wear and Safety for the particular tire used. The door jam placard pressure is the pressure you should follow for servicing your tires.
DO NOT USE THE MAX PRESSURE FROM THE SIDEWALL OF THE TIRE.
