Baking clear in the booth when stacking 5 coats is a big mistake!
Here we explain the process, our panels go through after paint. We do not bake the booth and risk solvent pop. When you bake in the booth, especially when stacking clear you will force dry the outer layers and cause them to skin over most of the time that will cause solvent pop! We are going to let these panels sit in the booth and dry naturally for a few days before we put them out in the sun or infrared bake them. I’ve said it many times, there is a huge difference between cured and dried!
