Avoid placing suction cups or sticky phone mounts on freshly tinted windows โ€” itโ€™s a simple but important step to protect your investment. While it might seem convenient to use your window as a mounting surface right away, doing so can actually damage the tint film before it has fully cured. The adhesive on suction cups and mounts can stick to the surface, potentially peeling or lifting the film, especially in the early stages of curing.

Tint films need time to fully bond to your windows, and placing items like phone mounts too soon can interfere with this process. To get the best, long-lasting results, itโ€™s essential to give the film the time it needs to cure properly, which typically takes a few days to a week depending on weather conditions.

During this curing period, itโ€™s best to avoid attaching anything to the windows. Allow the tint to set and harden, and once it's fully cured, you can use mounts and other accessories without worrying about damaging the film. Taking these extra precautions will help preserve the tint's appearance and functionality for years to come.
