Hello Members,

We are happy to announce that the park is now open. During the high-water event, a few of the bathhouse toilets were damaged but otherwise the park drains and sewer systems are working normally. As a reminder, several parcels were delivered directly to the office (UPS, FedEx, Amazon) and can be picked up at any time. While there is no charge, you will find parcel slips in the mailbox (for those who rent one) or in the wooden box in the lobby (for those who don’t).

We would also like to advise everyone that there is another Whatcom County Flood Watch in effect from December 15, 10:00 AM PST until December 18, 04:00 PM PST. We hope that the incoming weather is less severe but in the case it’s not, we may have to shut down again. We thank you for your patience and will let you all know if circumstances change.

Thank you for your patience while we deal with the high water that has gone through the park. As of today, December 13th 2025, the water has gone down significantly besides some standing water that's a few inches deep. Currently, we are not allowing guest to stay overnight so we can have our maintenance people clean up a few of the bath houses that were affected by the water. We are letting members drive through the park to get to their sites, however we would like people to sign into the office before entering the park.

By tomorrow, December 14th, we will be fully open and allow overnight guests.

As a reminder, over the past few days the office has been collecting mail from all postal services that came by. If you were expecting a package from FedEx, UPS, or Amazon, there will be no charge as those packages would have typically gone to your site. However, if a package came in from USPS, the office always hold packages from them so it will be charged if needed as per usual.

Thank you again for your patience, we hope to see you soon!

UPDATE: PARK STILL CLOSED

Hello members,

First, I would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding while we navigate high levels of water in the park. As of this morning the water began to recede in several areas. As the day moves along, water continues to seep into the park from the surrounding areas, and the City of Blaine has not issued any updates regarding re-opening.

At this time, the park will remain closed until further notice. Determining factors for re-opening will depend on the amount of rainfall and advisements from the City of Blaine. The BBLP team will continue to work as scheduled and will be available to answer any questions. If you have an urgent concern, please feel free to call the office, and we will do our best to assist in any way possible.

As much as we would like to determine an exact date for re-opening, many factors will have to be considered for safety purposes, and maintenance will have to ensure the sewer and electrical equipment is running smoothly. We will continue to keep you all posted.

Best regards,
BBLP Administration

Hello members,

The security team spent the day assessing and managing the water flow as best as possible. The latest update is as follows:

The park has dry areas but there are significant pools ranging from 2-18 inches. The main affected areas are:

• Acadia – The intersections of Acadia/Mainline and Acadia/Meadow Rd are not currently passable. Water from the moat continues to rise to the roadway.
• Center Way is largely underwater. The water flowing through the area has created areas that reach anywhere from 6 to 18 inches deep.
• Mainline – the road is blocked off at Acadia. Heavy amounts of standing water remain from Acadia to Circle 36 – this area is impassable.
• Meadow Road is under 4” to 18” of water from Timberline to Dogwood.
• Fern Road is dry so far – however getting there is a challenge.
• Circles are varied. Security has noted that the sites across from Meadow Road have a lot of water and are difficult to access by vehicles. The map that we distributed yesterday is still pretty accurate as far as the affected areas.
• Bathhouse 4 is inaccessible due to surrounding water.

At this time, the park will remain closed until further notice. Determining factors for re-opening will depend on the amount of rainfall and advisements from the City of Blaine. The office team and security will continue to work as scheduled and will be available to answer any questions. Thank you all for your continued support and patience!

UPDATE: The park will remain closed until further notice as we continue to experience standing water on many of the main park roads. Several of our team members are not able to get to the park safely, but the office team and security will remain on site so that we can monitor circumstances and keep members updated. Thank you for understanding.
