It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of one of our clients. He brought his f250 to our shop to work on and build as his own. He came down from central Montana during the summer and whenever he had breaks from high school to see and work on his pickup.

C**t, you were a kind hearted soul, who’s passion for old pickups showed through your work.

To his family and friends, we are so sad to hear of your devastating loss and we will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers as you move forward.

This j10 came in for some small patch work on the roof and rear box side. Summer is right around the corner. Make sure to get your classic in before so you can drive in style this summer!

Patch panels on the El Camino are coming along and “Gutshot” got its first coat of body filler and hi build primer. Things are moving right along despite the cold temperatures.

It’s been a busy Friday around the shop! Today we finished out the 77 f250, removed the cab on “Gutshot” and started prepping it for paint, and finished welding the cowl in on the SS el Camino! We want to give a huge shout out to Soda Station for giving us the fuel to get through the day!

Slowly but surely gutshot is making more progress. The weather has made it difficult to complete the media blasting of the frame but some of the accessories have been blasted and are painted. Hoping for better weather!

Oh if this pickup could talk and tell stories….

This f250 was dropped off to us by a client who’s uncle passed away and left it to our client. His uncle used it for seismographing all over the state. Our client told us some fun stories of his uncle and how he loved this truck. He called it gutshot.

We’ve got a new crate engine on order for it and then we are doing some prep work on it before it goes off to paint. A huge shout out to Big Sky Media Blasting for prepping the bed and accesories for us and thank you to this client for giving us the honor to restore Gutshot to its glory! We hope we make your uncle proud!
