Got a 6.7l Cummins? Have you replaced the grid heater system? Take this as a reminder to get yours replaced if you haven’t. 🧐

Last week we had a 21 Ram 3500 6.7l w/ 91k miles in the shop that had the infamous grid heater nut failure on and destroyed the engine turning into a VERY EXPENSIVE repair the customer was not prepared for. 💥

A simple upgrade could have save this customer $30k dollars or more! 🤑

Brands like; Banks, S&B, Fleece, & Spelab all make conversion/delete kits to save your engine and prevent this from happening to you. 🥳

These kits also help the engine breathe by providing more efficient flow through the intake system and most trucks see a significant difference in low end torque. 🌬️

In our climate it is recommended that a triple or a dual heating element is installed over a single heating element for the best cold start performance. 🥶

Cold winter weather is going to sneak up on us sooner than we are ready for.. 🥶

We catch things before they become bigger problems. 🧐

The belt on the left is obviously on borrowed time. If the belt came apart it would have caused more damage to the drive belt system, aka more money & would have put your vehicle on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck. ⛓️‍💥

Without a visual inspection or complete failure you would have no idea the best was in this condition as it was not making any noise. A $60 part can be the difference of you making it to work on time or waiting on a tow truck. This is why vehicle inspections are important. 📝
