What can I say. What a way to end the old and start the new year with one of the biggest jobs I’ve done since I went on my own. Caldwell High School got a nice facelift getting rid of the old 1960 style single pane windows that were very energy insufficient and outdated parts to having me install new insulated aluminum frames with gray tinted double pane insulated glass and sliding windows in the bottom portion. They definitely made a huge difference in appearance and keeping the rooms and office warm. I can’t thank the school board, superintendent, and maintenance enough for wanting to keep the work local and providing me the opportunity to do the work not only at the high school but the administration office as well!!! It goes to show jobs like these don’t need to go to out of town contractors. Done it all with just the help of my awesome cousin Kam Hesson. The two of us worked our butts off to get this completed. Hopefully it goes to show that anyone local with a need of upgrading on windows wether it’s schools, businesses, etc., that they can look to me as the local glass guy that can take care of those needs. Again, thank you Caldwell Exempted Village School District for choosing Crooked Tree Woodworks & Glass to work with you on this project! Hopefully more local schools will jump on board and use small and local!!

Finished up this little job today. Removed an old rotten framed window that had plexiglass in it and updated it with a new aluminum storefront frame in Byesville, OH today. Finished up this nice little job this week as well. Gave the Caldwell Administrative building a little face lift with some new aluminum framing with insulated glass. Tore out the old steel framed windows. They were having problems with the old ones leaking. Once I got into it there was no wonder why they were having water issues. I will never understand why contractors install steel/hollow metal frames on the exterior of a building. Aluminum storefront framing and doors are the way to go. As you can see from the pics just a little rust on the old frames. Now onto replacing the high school windows when the new material is ready to be delivered.
