🏁 G3RC RACE UPDATE 🏁

Due to the weather forecast, there will NOT be a King of the Carolinas race this weekend.

We hate to miss a race day, but Mother Nature had other plans this time around.

The good news… we’ll be back on track for a G3RC Club Race on Saturday, October 17th! 💜💛

Go ahead and mark your calendars, get those cars ready, and come spend the day racing with us at G3RC Raceway & Hobby Shop!

👑 WHAT DO YOU HAVE ON YOUR SCHEDULE NEXT SATURDAY? 👑

We hope it’s the King of the Carolina Series Finale at G3RC! 🏁

We’re hearing there are some TIGHT points battles going into the finale, which means everybody better bring their A-game next week! 🔥

Derrick and Chris have put a ton of work into making this series happen, and we’d love to show them just how much the RC community appreciates it.

So let’s pack the pits, fill the driver stand, and give them a RECORD TURNOUT for the finale! 💪

🏁 WEEKEND WARRIOR IS IN THE BOOKS! 🏁

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to G3RC for our Weekend Warrior race! We finished the day with 58 entries, and we appreciate every single one of you who chose to spend your Saturday racing with us. 💜💛

At the drivers meeting, we put it to a vote: keep the original two-day format or get it all done in one day. The majority voted for ONE DAY, so we adjusted the program and went racing!

We ran:
🏁 2 rounds of qualifying
⚡ Double A Mains for the electric classes
🔥 Nitro mains

The weather gave us a nice warm day, and overall, the program went pretty smoothly.

The one area we definitely struggled with was marshalling. We want to give an extra THANK YOU to those racers who stepped up and volunteered to marshal when it wasn’t even their turn. We noticed it, and we truly appreciate you helping us keep the program moving.

As always, we learn something from every race, and we’ll take what we learned from Weekend Warrior and use it to keep making race days at G3RC better.

👑 NEXT UP: KING OF THE CAROLINA FINALE! 👑

📅 October 3rd

It’s time to crown our Kings! 👑🏁

Thank you again to everyone who raced, helped, hung out, and supported G3RC this weekend. 58 entries, a full day of racing, and another Weekend Warrior in the books!

We’ll see y’all in October! 💜💛🏁

🏁 MIDWEEK WEEKEND WARRIOR UPDATE! 🏁

We’ve been working hard getting G3RC ready for this weekend! 💪

✅ Grass is cut
✅ Water has been delivered
✅ Track is prepped
✅ And, of course… there’s a little rain in the forecast. 😂

But really—what would a race at G3RC be without at least a chance of rain?

The biggest chance is Friday, and honestly, we’ll take the help with the watering! For Saturday, they’re currently only showing around 0.1” of rain, so if we get it, we’ll call that a nice little sprinkle to help tame the dust. 🌧️🏁

We’re moving forward and getting everything ready for a great Weekend Warrior!

One important housekeeping note for everyone coming in this weekend:

☀️ The sun has pretty much destroyed our reserved parking signs. Unfortunately, Mother Nature apparently does not respect reserved parking. 😂

That does NOT mean those spots are fair game. If you did not reserve a spot—and you haven’t made arrangements with someone who did—please do not park in a reserved space.

There is PLENTY of parking available around the property for everyone.

If you’re unsure where you should park when you arrive, please find Gary or me and we’ll get you pointed in the right direction.

Now we just keep working, keep watching the sky, and get ready to RACE! 🏁💜💛

WEEKEND WARRIOR IS ALMOST HERE!
