🏁 WEEKEND WARRIOR IS IN THE BOOKS! 🏁

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to G3RC for our Weekend Warrior race! We finished the day with 58 entries, and we appreciate every single one of you who chose to spend your Saturday racing with us. 💜💛

At the drivers meeting, we put it to a vote: keep the original two-day format or get it all done in one day. The majority voted for ONE DAY, so we adjusted the program and went racing!

We ran:
🏁 2 rounds of qualifying
⚡ Double A Mains for the electric classes
🔥 Nitro mains

The weather gave us a nice warm day, and overall, the program went pretty smoothly.

The one area we definitely struggled with was marshalling. We want to give an extra THANK YOU to those racers who stepped up and volunteered to marshal when it wasn’t even their turn. We noticed it, and we truly appreciate you helping us keep the program moving.

As always, we learn something from every race, and we’ll take what we learned from Weekend Warrior and use it to keep making race days at G3RC better.

🏁 WEEKEND WARRIOR UPDATE — WE ARE RACING! 🏁

We’re out here today working hard to keep the track watered and ready for the weekend! 💦

The weather forecast has been up and down all week, and even though we’ve had rain in the forecast several times, we haven’t received any rain this week. So we’re doing what we do — keeping the track watered, prepped, and ready to go!

🏁 MIDWEEK WEEKEND WARRIOR UPDATE! 🏁

We’ve been working hard getting G3RC ready for this weekend! 💪

✅ Grass is cut
✅ Water has been delivered
✅ Track is prepped
✅ And, of course… there’s a little rain in the forecast. 😂

But really—what would a race at G3RC be without at least a chance of rain?

The biggest chance is Friday, and honestly, we’ll take the help with the watering! For Saturday, they’re currently only showing around 0.1” of rain, so if we get it, we’ll call that a nice little sprinkle to help tame the dust. 🌧️🏁

We’re moving forward and getting everything ready for a great Weekend Warrior!

One important housekeeping note for everyone coming in this weekend:

☀️ The sun has pretty much destroyed our reserved parking signs. Unfortunately, Mother Nature apparently does not respect reserved parking. 😂

That does NOT mean those spots are fair game. If you did not reserve a spot—and you haven’t made arrangements with someone who did—please do not park in a reserved space.

There is PLENTY of parking available around the property for everyone.

If you’re unsure where you should park when you arrive, please find Gary or me and we’ll get you pointed in the right direction.

🏁 IT’S RACE WEEK AT G3RC! 🏁

The Weekend Warrior 2-Day Race is THIS WEEKEND, and we’re ready for a full weekend of racing, friends, and fun at G3RC!

FRIDAY
Camping is welcome Friday night, so come on in, get settled and hang out with us!
🚫 There will be NO Friday practice.

SATURDAY — QUALIFYING DAY

The countdown is officially on for the G3RC Weekend Warrior 2-Day Event — August 29–30!

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone for a full weekend of racing, hanging out, and doing what we love at G3RC. 💜💛

And as of right now… Mother Nature looks like she may be cutting us a little break with some COOLER weather! 🙌 We’ll take it! 😂

What a great day for our August Club Race at G3RC!

The weather cooperated with overcast skies for most of the day and just a little humidity, making for a great day of racing. We had 66 entries, and it was awesome seeing everyone out at the track.

I had the opportunity to call the race today, and I have to say, I get a little more comfortable behind the microphone every time. Thank you all for your patience and encouragement—it means more than you know!

We also welcomed quite a few first-time drivers and families to G3RC today. We truly hope you felt right at home. Thank you for choosing to spend your Saturday with us, and we hope this is just the first of many visits!

Our next event is our Weekend Warrior 2-Day Race on August 28th & 29th. We’ll be sharing all the details very soon, so stay tuned!

As always, thank you to everyone who came out to race, marshal, help, cheer, and support our track. We appreciate each and every one of you. ❤️🏁
