I built a jig years ago to make custom speaker grills. I use my router to make a positive and negative to mount in my sled and put the jig in the press to shape the speaker grill metal.

A little different Friday today. I installed the repaired sniper 2 throttle body to move the 75 Suburban (it let the smoke out). Then i made some rust dust fixing a hole in the floor so I can start to button up the interior. Hopefully I'll burn some wire tomorrow.

I cut some half round aluminum stock and shaped the ends before polishing them up. Then i drilled for and added screws to the back. This gives me more control when polishing. I polished to get them close, but will give them a final run through before installing. These will go over carpet on the rear floor shelf on the 49 Chevy.
