I hate to even make this post but just so there’s some understanding. First, I’m so very thankful for all of the business yall have brought us and sent to us. There’s two of us working diligently all day sometimes long days we are thankful for the work however, we can’t give daily updates on everyone’s equipment we have in the shop. It would literally take hours out of the day. We have basic things in stock, fuel filters, oil filters, spark plugs etc. Some things we can get from local dealerships but they are limited on what they keep in stock and often times have to order it themselves. If there is an aftermarket option that is just as good of quality and it saves you money that’s what we go with unless specified otherwise. That being said it takes time to get certain parts and there are a lot of factors that come with “time.” Is the part back ordered? Where the part is coming from? Who is the company delivering the part (if it’s the USPS it’s going to take longer). It does us no good to just sit around and look at your equipment and not work on it. You aren’t going to be happy about that and we aren’t going to be happy because we have bills and just life like we are all dealing with, if we aren’t working we aren’t making any money. So, when we get equipment in we put it in line to be diagnosed unless it’s just a service, once we diagnose your equipment we then get a parts list together and what the labor is going to be, we contact you with that information and the dollar amount. From there, you either approve the repairs or you don’t. Once repairs are approved by the customer the parts are ordered that day. We will contact you again with the information of when the parts are supposed to be here and again when they show up. Then we begin the repairs. Once the repairs are complete we contact you for a final time letting you know the repairs have been completed. Once you have been notified that your equipment is ready for pick up you have 5 business days to pick up. After the 5 business days you will be charged $50 a day for all hand held equipment including back pack blowers. After 5 business days you will be charged $100 a day for all riding equipment, riding mowers, zero turns, ATVs, etc. The reason for that is we are a small business. Our family endures a lot of the same hardships as you. I understand that times are tough for a lot of people. We have had our fair share in our family the last couple years and continue to deal with some medical issues ourselves. It’s not cheap. I understand. However, when you agree for the work to be done and agree to the price, that’s it. The last two months I have gone in the red operating simply because I have MULTIPLE people who have been notified that their equipment was ready for pick up and it’s just sitting here. We literally have thousands of dollars of our own money tied up in parts we have purchased for your equipment and we have completed the work in as timely a manner as possible depending on part availability. That’s the reason for the late pick up fees. I’m not looking to make anymore money than what was agreed to but I don’t know any other way to get people to pick up. This isn’t everyone that’s doing this but when you have multiple pieces, MULTIPLE PIECES of equipment that are ready to go just sitting here for weeks it affects my family and our livelihood. There’s no budging on the late fees. I appreciate you all greatly and thanks for spreading the word. 501-408-9694 for any small engine needs!! Call, text, or message us on messenger. We hope everyone has a great evening and rest of the week.
