There are several excellent independent tuners in the Kansas City area. Unfortunately, your local dealership may not be one of them.
There’s a lot more to proper motorcycle tuning than producing an impressive dyno graph. I recently had to correct a tune that could have left a rider stranded on the side of the road, and it brought back memories of some of the poor tunes I received years ago—the very experiences that motivated me to get into this industry.
A great tune requires far more than a few dyno pulls, especially on the newer Gen 2 motorcycles. Proper fueling, rideability, cold starts, hot starts, throttle response, engine safety, and long-term reliability all matter.
If you want your bike tuned correctly, reach out to me or one of the other local independent shops that still take pride in their work and genuinely care about their customers.
