British Cars of NH (BCNH)

British Cars of NH (BCNH) British Cars of New Hampshire (BCNH) is an organization devoted to the preservation, restoration and BCNH is a multi-marque club.

You are welcome to join if you have any type of British car. Heck, even if you don't yet own a British car but are interested in learning more about them, we welcome you to join the club! BCNH provides its members and their families with British auto-oriented activities and social events throughout the year. Charitable Causes Supported by BCNH

BCNH raises money for charities through the annual Sh

ow of Dreams and other events. Profits from the Show of Dreams are donated to the High Hopes Foundation of New Hampshire, a non-profit charitable organization with over two decades of wish-granting experience. Every year the High Hopes Foundation literally makes dreams come true for between 20 and 30 New Hampshire children with life-challenging conditions between the ages of 3 and 18. To date High Hopes has helped over 500 children. Visit www.highhopesnh.org for more information about High Hopes.

British Cars of New Hampshire celebrates 35 years in February!

BCNH was founded on a cold winter’s night in February 1991 at the Red Blazer restaurant in Concord, NH. Thank you to all that have supported the club for the last 35 years. Here’s to many more. Long may we reign.

Please read this important announcement concerning the British Cars of New Hampshire Show of Dreams.

THE BCNH SHOW OF DREAMS
THE END OF AN ERA

The Show of Dreams Committee met on October 25, 2025 and after much discussion and reflection with the members present, made the decision to permanently end the annual British Cars of New Hampshire Show of Dreams. We understand that this will be a disappointment for many of you.

It was not a decision the committee made lightly. The reality is we lost Norma Karle, who played a key and vital role in the running of the Show of Dreams, and that the show in general has become far too demanding for all those involved with planning, organizing, setting up and breaking down the field, amongst the many other things that had to take place before a car even drove onto the show field. It is simply too much work.

The average age of the SOD team – and British Cars of New Hampshire in general - is seventy plus. As a club, we are simply aging out.
That said, as a club we can take pride in knowing the Show of Dreams has a twenty-six-year legacy of giving back to the community. That part of BCNH isn’t going to end – but whatever we may do in the future will be scaled back and still provide exceptional service to our communities in New Hampshire. In the meantime, we are taking well deserved break.

On a personal note:

When I started British Cars of New Hampshire in 1991, like most young clubs you have lofty ideas and goals. One was “wouldn’t it be great to have our own car show?” Six years later in 1997, arriving home jet-lagged after a holiday in England I hopped in my 1976 Triumph Spitfire and attended the very first Show of Dreams in Milford, NH. Norma Karle and Linda Cagan made it happen and the rest they say, is history.
Thank you to all the Show of Dream Committee members and countless volunteers over the years that made it the most anticipated British car show in the Northeast. We were never the biggest – but everyone said we were always the BEST.

Today was the Wool Arts Tour in the Monadnock Region, with member attendance this year the highest it's ever been. Four farms were visited in a tour just under 40 miles, starting with Spinner Farm in Deering and ending with Maple Lane Farm in Lyndeborough. Thankfully the last farm had the handmade wool socks I've been looking for. No cold feet in the TR3B now. It was a chilly start but most put their tops down as the day warmed up nicely.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - 2025 SHOW OF DREAMS

Due to circumstances beyond our control, this year's 2025 Show of Dreams is CANCELED.

This was an extremely difficult decision to make and not taken lightly.

Thank you for your understanding.

Just another reason not to miss this year’s show - see you there!

It's said if you want the weather to change in New England, wait 5 minutes.

A chilly day with only a few sprinkles and the occasional bit of sun, we set off from Crackerbox Palace to Rollins State Park and the auto road to the summit of Mt. Kearsarge. We were early enough that we could all drive up at the same time, having the parking lot to ourselves for at least a few minutes.

Yoshi, the Palace guard dog, modeled the latest in canine fashion. Embroidered BCNH dog jackets in various sizes will be on the Silent Auction table at this year's Show of Dreams, July 26th.

Thirty four years ago this month, British Cars of New Hampshire was created in Concord, NH. Over the years many things have changed but one that is constant is the passion and dedication from members that keeps BCNH and the British car hobby thriving.
Thank you to members past and present for your support because it wouldn't be our 34th birthday without you.

Long May We Reign.
