Clear-View, Inc. recently completed a trench drain replacement project near the aircraft wash bay at American Airlines in Charlotte.

The existing 6-inch trench drain had failed, creating drainage issues and a potential safety hazard. Our team excavated the old drain, saw-cut the concrete 10 inches deep, and installed a new heavy-duty trench drain surrounded by 5,000 PSI concrete.

The result? A durable drainage solution rated to support 200,000 pounds—built for the demands of airport operations and heavy equipment.

Bollard Replacement Project | American Airlines ✈️

Clear-View, Inc. recently completed a bollard replacement project for American Airlines in Charlotte, NC, after a truck struck two bollards protecting an HVAC unit at a facility near the taxiway at Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

During removal, we discovered the original bollards had only been installed about one foot deep with minimal concrete support. We replaced them with new bollards installed approximately 3 feet into the ground with proper concrete support to provide a stronger protective barrier for the HVAC equipment and building.

Proper installation matters when bollards are protecting critical infrastructure.

Protecting Critical Equipment with High-Visibility Bollards

Clear-View recently completed a bollard installation at a wastewater treatment plant in Gastonia, NC, where skid steer operators were having difficulty seeing sensitive moving gates from inside the equipment cab.

Our solution? Bright yellow, high-visibility bollards installed beside the vulnerable areas to give operators a clear visual reference while working around the facility.

The bollards were fabricated, welded, finished and painted in-house by Clear-View specifically for this application.

The client was very pleased with the results and plans to add similar bollards in other areas of the facility.

🚗 Fresh Parking Lot Striping for a Gastonia, NC Church

Clear-View, Inc. recently completed a parking lot restriping project for a local church in Gastonia. The congregation wanted to improve the appearance and organization of their parking area while making it easier for their aging members to access the church.

Our team refreshed the parking space lines and added ADA-accessible parking markings to improve visibility and accessibility throughout the lot.

🚧 Project Spotlight: Hyundai of Charlotte

We're excited to share a recent project that's currently underway at Hyundai of Charlotte!

This large-scale parking lot improvement is being completed in multiple phases. As each section is graded and paved, our team is laying out and striping the new parking areas to keep the dealership looking professional and operating efficiently throughout construction.

One of the best parts of this project is seeing the dramatic difference between the newly paved, freshly striped sections and the older pavement that has yet to be resurfaced. It's a great example of how professional pavement markings can completely transform a property.

Check out this recent project we completed at Gaston College.

Our Clear-View, Inc. team spent the week completing asphalt repairs across campus, including multiple patch repairs in the roundabout area. The project included saw cutting, excavation, and installing new surface-grade asphalt to restore damaged pavement and improve long-term performance.

In total, we completed repairs in 20 locations ranging from 4' x 4' to 10' x 28'. Projects like this help extend pavement life while improving safety and appearance across high-traffic areas.
