We got a call from Tyler Texas. A lady had her 2024 VW Atlas SE with 21,816 miles hit by a driver insured by Texas Farm Bureau. They paid $19,000 for repairs, but didn’t offer anything for the diminished value. We sent our report in showing a diminished value of $5000. After a lot of back and forth, they finally agreed to pay $3000 for the accelerated depreciation, which our customer gladly accepted. It’s not what we wanted, but more than what they offered.

The umpire agreed with me and my customer was paid 10 G’s. National General tried to lowball our customer on the diminished value claim on his 2025 Porsche Cayman GT4 RS with only 2800 miles. One of their customers hit his car and caused $6500 damage. Their independent appraiser offered $200. You read that right only $200. NC law requires we choose an umpire when we can’t agree on an amount of diminished value . An umpire is like a judge. Luckily the umpire agreed with me and awarded my customer 10 G’s . That’s right from $200 to $10,000. That’s why you never trust the people who owe you money to determine how much money they owe you.

He wanted to throw me a big ole party after I got him $32,500 in diminished value for his 2023 MC20 Masarati. The insurance company adjuster was so clueless I actually had to call the VP of the company to get this one settled. Initially they offered $15,000 and said he would not budge. I said I’ll call your boss and let him be the judge. He was removed from the claim. The independent appraiser they hired came back at me with an offer of $20,000 which I thought was still a little lame. After I was finished with my informative discussion we agreed to a diminished value of $32,500 quick and snappy. That amount seemed to make everyone happy. Never trust the people who owe you money to determine how much money they owe you.

Why YES , we doo Marine Insurance claims too. Trident 🔱 Insurance marine claims Consultants. We do boats, yachts and personal watercraft. From 5 foot to 500 feet or more. I have over 10 years in the boating and yachting industry. Ole Flo try to use her voodoo and cheat my customer on his 2019 RXT-X 300 SEADOO. The adjuster Doug pressured and tried then he straight out lied!! He told his own customer “ your Sea-Doo has a factory defect so it won’t be covered” then he said “because it has a factory defect we don’t owe you full value“ another lie. He tried the 3-Ds. Defend, delay, deny, and lie. I told the customer absolutely everything that Doug told him was a lie. We ran our own independent valuation and found out that their Mitchell report was off by thousands. He invoked the appraisal clause and gave Doug my information, now here is the funny part. As soon as he gave Doug my information,within an hour he text him back. Doug backtracked on everything he said and increase the offer by $4000. They initially only offered him $7500. Once the appraisal clause was invoked Doug form Regressive immediately raised his offer to $11,500. The customer said, “ hey Billy I’m good with that, It’s sure nice to knowing there are people like you that have our backs.” Never trust the insurance company or their employees to tell you the truth and never ever trust someone who owes money to determine how much money they owe you.

What’s Lower than a Lizard? A
a deceptive Geico employee like David Grabovetsky. An attorney called me from Brooklyn NY he needed an expert auto appraiser. His wife’s car was declared a total loss. Geico used CCC and said her 2020 Kia Sportage LX awd with 22,356 miles was only worth $14,330. That’s according to them and their highly biased CCC report. Based on our own research we found they were thousands off. The customer invoked the appraisal clause. What’s supposed to happen is the insured hires me and the insurance company (David ) MUST hire an independent appraiser. I my experience and expert opinion every once in a while a sneaky lazy person like David Grabovetsky tries to circumvent the process and get a look at my valuation.. Basically they know they cheated the customer and got caught. Now they are doing damage control because they got caught. They basically hate to loose control of the claim because Im going to make them PAY!! He asks me for my report which is a violation of the policy. When I told him I wasn’t sending mine he rudely said it could takes weeks. Basically punishing the customer and being vindictive. Luckily don’t mess with a lady , especially pi**ed off New Yorker from Brooklyn. She called management and supervisors. Funny because David’s boss looked in the file to find out he didn’t assign an appraiser. Hod Damn I can just visualize him getting his egotistical self put in place. It made me smile. Not more than an hour later their independent appraiser emailed me and within 24 hours of her call we settled. We agreed the Kia was actually worth $18,300. That’s $3790 more than what Grabovetsky tried to cheat them out of. 1 ) Never trust anything they say 2) Never trust an insurance company that owes you money to determine how much money they owe you.
