Sometimes you have to start over.

I'm tearing out the entire electrical system in Demon Child and rewiring it from the ground up with a K&R Performance Wiring kit. While I'm at it, I added printable heat shrink tubing so every wire is permanently labeled. It takes more time now, but it will make troubleshooting and maintenance much easier down the road.

A clean, reliable wiring system is one of those things that nobody notices when it's working—but everyone notices when it isn't.

Looking forward to getting this one back together better than ever.

Been a bit since we last posted anything. Here is a short video from our most recent Famoso Dragstrip outing (ANRA Season Opener in April). Car ran 8:05 @ 163, but then we chased some suspension problems until ultimately tire shake shorted out a wire, fried the battery, and put us in the trailer.

This weekend has been dedicated to and wrapping up the new wiring. Completely new wiring, starting with a K&R Wiring kit and finishing with a bunch of custom circuits. Also wired in the new shifter from Motion Raceworks with an added low gear microswitch.
