Late post from Nick’s PitStop! 🔧🏁

PitCrew member "Hope”got a few small engine bay upgrades recently — a new fan shroud, hose brackets, and some factory-style decals to give the engine bay a cleaner, more finished look.

Nothing major, just taking care of those little details that make a difference. 👌

After wrapping things up, we took Hope out for a cruise to Gateway Classic Cars Caffeine & Chrome. Always a great excuse to stretch her legs, check out some cool rides, and enjoy a little car talk.

🇺🇸 A Salute from Nick’s PitStop 🇺🇸

I did not have the privilege of knowing Belleville Police Chief Matthew Eiskant, but over the past two days I’ve witnessed a couple of the processions honoring him during his visitation and funeral.

Seeing the outpouring of respect from law enforcement, first responders, and the community says a great deal about the man, the leader, and the impact he made during his service.

Rest easy, Chief. Job well done. 🫡

Thank you to the men and women of the Belleville Police Department, along with all of our area first responders, for what you do each and every day to serve and protect our community.

🚗💨 Stella is headed back to Mike's Automotive in Millstadt! 🔧🔥

Nick’s PitStop PitCrew member Stella 64 Impala is making another big step toward getting back on the road. Her freshly rebuilt motor is complete, and she’s heading back to our trusted machine shop to have it reinstalled!

While we were waiting on the engine, we made good use of the downtime. Stella’s **engine bay got a fresh coat of paint**, and we went through the wiring to replace anything showing the wear and tear of years of wrenching, repairs, and splices from previous owners.

⚡ No more unnecessary fire hazards.
⚡ No more sketchy splices.
⚡ No more worrying about shorts from worn-out wiring.

It’s all about doing it right and making sure Stella comes back **cleaner, safer, and more dependable** than when she arrived.

Now it’s time to get that rebuilt heart back where it belongs! ❤️‍🔥

Stay tuned for more updates on Stella and this customer’s project as we get closer to hearing her fire up again!

After a full day of landscaping and knocking out chores at the shop, a little evening cruise with Nick's PitStop PitCrew member “Hope” was exactly what I needed. Spent the dayvat the shop doing everything but playing with cars. Stopped at the park for a few pictures and just enjoyed the quiet for a while.

Hope is my r Silver Gray ’66 Mustang Coupe powered by a 302 with an Autolite 4100 carburetor and F4B intake. She’s also been upgraded with Borgeson steering, subframe connectors, Shelby drop, 1 1/8” front sway bar, Open Tracker roller perches and adjustable strut rods, power brakes, A/C, and a custom aftermarket audio system.

Funny how a relaxing drive in an old car can make all that work earlier in the day feel worth it. Good weather, a nice cruise, and a few peaceful minutes in the park… not a bad way to end my day at all. 😎

If anyone is looking for a solid classic car, I've seen this one in person. Power disk brakes, AC, Power Steering, aftermarket radio... Great car. Very well maintained three owner car with original paperwork (including window sticker) and maintenance records since the day of purchase. ZERO RUST!
