I’ve found it extremely difficult to express myself regarding the loss of our children in Uvalde, TX. I have been silent the past couple of days trying to sit with my emotions and think of something comforting to say…
The fact of the matter is that however undertaking is my business, I am human and I do not have words to adequately express what I am feeling or to offer you any comfort. The one thing I’ve learned over the years of helping families who have suffered the loss of a child is that there is nothing I can say to offer them or myself comfort.
In these instances a moment of silence is the most I can bare.
Deepest sympathies to the parents and to the entire community of Uvalde. Grief shared is grief diminished, but we will never forget and moving on as a nation however not impossible does seem an insurmountable challenge today.
Please keep the very few morticians in that area who have undertaken the burden of preparing these little angels in mind and prayer. It is unimaginable the strength that will be needed to cope with this loss.
