The past 3 months have been an emotional whirlwind for our family. On May 17th, I took my husband, Walter "Bub" Ash, to EMMC emergency department for what we thought was a gallbladder issue. 21 days later, he was discharged with a stage 4 pancreatic cancer diagnosis. The weeks were filled with appointments, medical procedures and chemo treatments, all while he rapidly declined. On Sunday, August 17th, he lost his brief battle with this horrible disease. We are all at a loss, so overwhelmed with grief and disbelief. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we try to find our new normal. 💔
