A little behind the scenes from working through our first custom clamshell prototype so we can recess the charge port. Working on recessing a Ringbrothers billet charge port into the body…keeping the aesthetics and function streamlined. A few final touches and it’ll be complete 😎

Hang out for 20 seconds and shave some drip rails 😎 The feature line where the old drip rails were ties nicely into the body lines for a timeless look.

Rocking that roofline and windshield channel! Smoothing the channel seams out and prep work for our Chris Fesler flush mount glass.

Relax for 20 seconds and shave these factory door lock cylinder holes with us! We’ll be using a SPAL_USA shaved-b 7 channel receiver to control the lock poppers and some other remote items 😎

Gap work continues, moving to the the front edge of the door. We grind the edge a little wider than we need add metal back to keep all the seams secure. Then, scribing the guide line to grind to form the gap.

Working the custom oval exhaust tips from JMD Tubes into the rear diffuser. Dialing in the gap and the flush fit for a clean look.

Getting the shaved trunk set-up in the car. We are using a trunk latch from an E92 BMW paired with the SPAL_USA shaved popper and remote kit! Came out awesome. Next we will be making the receiver piece to mount to the deck lid.

Bead rolling a piece for the new rocker extensions. Using a Allen Buresh Ox handheld planishing hammer to add a small radius at the bottom of the panel 😎
