I’m glad you thought the work was good! As for the rest, I’d like to clear a couple things up. I was sick that day. I’m a one-man operation, and on top of running my business, I’m also a school bus driver. So when I get sick, unfortunately there isn’t a backup “Chubby Guy” waiting in the wings to jump in and save the day. 😂
I didn’t forget your appointment, and I certainly don’t “consistently” forget appointments. I was sick. Sometimes your body apparently decides it has other plans for your schedule—because apparently I’m supposed to be able to control that too. 😂
I understand your frustration and I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but being sick isn’t exactly something I put on the calendar. I work hard to take care of my customers and provide good work, which you even acknowledged in your review.
If unexpectedly getting sick makes me “not worth the hassle,” I guess I’ll have to add “never get sick” to my list of business policies right alongside “be a school bus driver, run a tint shop, and apparently possess the ability to predict the future.” 😂
I appreciate the feedback, but I also think it’s important that the circumstances are represented accurately.

I hate having to make this post, but unfortunately, sometimes you have to do what’s necessary to keep moving forward.
With the cost of supplies continuing to go up, I’ve made the difficult decision to raise my prices by 7%. I’m sure everyone is feeling the crunch right now, and small businesses definitely aren’t immune to it either.
I’ve done my best to absorb the increases and keep my prices where they were for as long as I could. But when the costs keep creeping up a little here and a little there, eventually it becomes something I can’t continue to absorb on my own.
If you already have an appointment scheduled, your price will remain the same. This price adjustment will only apply to new quotes moving forward.
I truly appreciate everyone who supports my small business, recommends me to others, and continues to trust me with your vehicles. I know nobody likes seeing prices go up — and believe me, I don’t like raising them either. But this is something I feel I need to do to continue providing the same quality work and service you’ve come to expect from Chubby Guy Window Tinting.
Thank you for understanding and, most importantly, thank you for continuing to support my small business. ❤️
