The fact that this truck was still operational when it arrived at the shop was impressive. The customer reported that the vehicle started misfiring and running rough while out on route. Upon initial inspection, we found a hole in the piston of the number 2 cylinder and deemed the engine faulty. Once we began disassembling the engine, we discovered multiple broken valve springs and rocker arms, as well as a loose valve stem inside the intake manifold. Needless to say, this truck is getting a new engine.

In the case of this Case 165, a warning for low piston pump pressure was investigated, and our findings indicated a faulty hydraulic pressure sensor was the cause of the alarm. The picture provided shows hydraulic fluid leakage through the sensor, resulting in incorrect readings.

Trailer repairs? We’ve got you covered. This trailer came in with the brakes not gaining properly. We diagnosed the issue and found that the rear left electric brake assembly was bad due to a shorted brake magnet.

Got a call for a dozer with some issues. Upon arrival we were able to diagnose that it had several hydraulic leaks needing repairs. We will get them fixed up so this machine can work properly again
