Some Tips for Holiday Travel:
- Potentially higher gas prices due to demand, so fill up early
- Worst times to drive: Thursday afternoon into the evening, and Friday on Memorial Day weekend. For example, in New York, expect I-95, and US-130 to GW Bdg to be delayed up to 5x on Thursday 5/27 from 1-3PM
- Practice safe driving
- Keep tires properly inflated
- Stay alert while driving
- Avoid drinking alcohol, if planning on driving

🥳We are excited for longer days with daylight savings approaching!

Unfortunately, this switch can lead to more accidents, as losing an hour's sleep can lead to more accidents as the body acclimates to this change.

AAA offered motorists tips to stay safe:
- Watch for pedestrians when backing up in parking lots or driveways in the morning.
- Turn on headlights to make yourself more visible.
- Leave more following room: When the sun is in your eyes, it can be hard to see the car ahead of you.
- Watch for children and others outdoors in lighter evening hours.
- Yield the right of way to pedestrians in crosswalks.
