In October of 2002, “Big Jim” Harvey and Bobbie Harvey, were featured on the cover of RV News — and the title said it best:

“Big Jim Harvey — It’s a Family Affair.”

That article was not just about RV sales. It was about who my parents were and what they built. It talked about the way they took care of people — their customers, their employees, their community, and anyone who became part of their world.

The article said that when people joined their operation, it was not just a job — they became part of Jim’s family. That sentence still means everything to me, because that is exactly how my parents lived their lives and ran their business.

They taught me that this industry is about so much more than selling campers. It is about helping families make memories. It is about standing behind your word. It is about treating customers with respect, taking care of your employees, supporting your community, and building relationships that last for generations.

As their daughter, I am incredibly proud to have learned from them. I grew up watching their work ethic, their kindness, their grit, and their commitment to doing things the right way. Their example shaped not only the business, but also the person I became.

International RV World has been family owned and operated since 1957. That is three generations of service, knowledge, dedication, and love for this industry. The foundation my parents built is still at the heart of everything we do today.

Big Jim and Bobbie Harvey created more than a business. They created a legacy.

And every day, we are honored to carry that legacy forward — serving our customers, our community, and our RV family with the same heart they showed from the very beginning.
