This one is a little bittersweet to write.

Keithley Kustomz has been a huge part of our lives for a long time. We’ve taken on everything from collision work and insurance jobs to full restorations, custom paint, rust repair and just about everything in between.

We’ve built some incredible vehicles, met some amazing people, and learned a lot along the way.

But sometimes growing a business means realizing what you’re best at — and what you actually want to be known for.

So, Keithley Kustomz is becoming THE ROCKER SHOP.

This isn’t us closing the doors. It’s us simplifying, refocusing, and putting our energy into the work we enjoy and do best.

Moving forward, we will no longer be taking on major full restorations or collision repairs through insurance companies.

Instead, The Rocker Shop will focus on:

🔧 ALL types of rust repair — rockers, cab corners, wheel arches, floors, bedsides and more
🎨 Full paint jobs
💧 Hydrographics
🛞 Wheel refinishing
⚫ Blackout trim packages
💡 Headlight restoration
🎨 Custom/non-automotive paint work & oddball projects

And despite the new name, we aren't JUST doing rocker panels. Rust repair is simply what we've become known for, and rockers have become our bread and butter.

I’m incredibly thankful for everyone who has supported Keithley Kustomz over the years — whether you trusted us with a $200 job or a complete build.

We aren't walking away from what we built.

We're taking everything Keithley Kustomz taught us and turning it into something more focused.

Keithley Kustomz Update

Effective July 1st, Keithley Kustomz will be temporarily closed through September 1st.
This isn't a vacation—it's an investment in the future of our company.

We're using this time to restructure our operations, improve our processes, update equipment, and refine the overall customer experience from the moment you contact us until the day you pick up your vehicle.

Our goal has always been to build more than repaired vehicles—we want to build a shop that delivers the quality, communication, and craftsmanship our customers deserve.

While the shop is undergoing this transition, I (Austin Keithley) will still be taking on select smaller jobs, including both insurance and cash-pay work. If you have a smaller repair or project you'd like me to look at, don't hesitate to reach out.

Also the dream team we have are still with us. They are a part of the plan as well 😎

We truly appreciate everyone's continued support and patience during this transition. We look forward to reopening on September 1st stronger, more efficient, and ready to serve you better than ever.

Sometimes you have to step back to build something even better.

This Rav4 came in with the classic Toyota peeling white paint and faded trim. We got it cleaned up, re-sprayed, and looking fresh again without breaking the bank.

⚠️ PSA: Understanding What a “Budget Paint Job” Really Means ⚠️

We’ve noticed a lot of people hear “budget paint job” and expect a full restoration quality repaint for economy pricing. We want to be transparent about what these jobs actually include.

A budget paint job is designed to make your vehicle look cleaner, fresher, and more presentable — NOT to completely rebuild a vehicle from the ground up.

What budget jobs TYPICALLY include:

✔️ Sanding/problem area prep
✔️ Sealing and repainting
✔️ Improving faded trim and appearance
✔️ Minor imperfections handled where possible
✔️ Overall cosmetic improvement

What they usually DO NOT include:

❌ Full disassembly
❌ Door jambs/trunk jambs
❌ Major bodywork reconstruction
❌ Rust replacement
❌ Hours and hours of block sanding
❌ Perfection-level restoration labor

A proper show-quality restoration can take hundreds of labor hours. Budget jobs are about getting the MOST improvement possible within a realistic price range.

We work hard to offer affordable options because not everyone has $10,000–$20,000 for paintwork — but at the same time, we can’t perform unlimited labor for free.

We appreciate every customer that understands the value of honest work and realistic expectations. 🙏

We do our absolute best to bring you the quality you want. But it's no different than paying separate prices for designer brands compared to practical everyday brands.

This Toyota came in with the notorious peeling white factory paint failure. Instead of just blowing color over the bad areas, we repaired and touched every panel on the vehicle while still keeping the customer under $3,700 out the door.
